Last Friday evening, Vespucci hosted a group of stylish ladies  for BCRL’s shopping party.  My first-time hostess nerves aside, it was a great night, and a good time was had by all … thanks to the lovely staff on hand, awesome clothes, and not least of all, some delicious cupcakes from Whimsical Cake Studio. I hope that I have passed on my love of consignment shopping to at least a few new converts …
Here are some of the picks of the night:
Nine West brocade kitten heels ($30 – brand new!)
Della Spiga cropped wool jacket ($44)
Simon Chang dress ($58) and belt ($10)
Banana Republic dress ($34)
The Original Inc. top ($16) and Emmanuel Ungaro Liberte wool skirt ($20 – down from $98!)
Citrine dress ($38)

And my own finds …
Tristan embroidered jacket ($32)

Vero Moda blouse ($17)

I was also sorely tempted by a gorgeous maroon silk Prada dress ($178), but having splurged on a couple of designer bags recently (what can I say, I’m incorrigible), I decided to be “good” and leave it for another lucky lady.
If you are interested in more consignment shopping around town, check out My Favourite’s Aunt’s and Robes and Relics as well. And stay tuned next week for a post on thrift stores. Yes, that’s right, I said “thrift” …
