This week, why don’t we go with a cheery sort of colour, since the weather is surely not making anyone but the most hard-core winter lovers cheerful today. [Is it really April? Just checking.]

Ming is another older Chanel polish that was recently discontinued. A warm pink with peachy undertones, it’s not really the most flattering colour for my skin tone, but it’s very pretty nonetheless.

The subtle micro-shimmer that shows up in the bottle adds depth to the colour on the nail, but is otherwise not very visible. Application was so-so; Ming needs 3 coats for opacity, but it’s not as impossible to work with as, for example, Mica Rose.

I decided to pair Ming with another one of my Diane von Furstenberg wrap dresses; the print has subtle peachy-pink accents, which I decided to pick up in my accessories.
Because the print is fairly big, I kept the accessories simple and minimal, and added nude heels. Wow, don’t get blinded by those luminescent legs of mine! This time of year, they are practically glow-in-the-dark. Another reason why spring needs to hurry up and get here!

Happy Easter!
