Going out with a bang, you guys! I really like how this outfit turned out, though, god knows, it’s not going to set the fashion world on fire. Black + light blue is one of my current fave colour combos, and it makes a nice background for all kinds of other colours. Like, say, purple and teal. Speaking of which, I love this scarf:
I don’t wear it often – because, whoa, print overload – but it looks great with a pared-down outfit. I’m kinda all about the pared-down outfit these days, which … blows my mind. I mean, have you guys seen what I used to wear?! Your blogger is finally growing up, folks.
I can still pose along with those young whippersnappers, though. Smizing!Blue Steel!
Lovely outfit! That is a gorgeous scarf and the earrings are a perfect match.
You must be glad to be done the 30×30 challenge.
Thank you! And yes, I am … and so are you, I know. Don’t lie 😉
love this scarf, love this outfit. i want one of those button down chambray dresses, but they just look funky on me because i’m so short-torsoed and too long-legged. you totally have the right proportions though!
in other news, i found a bird blouse on ebay. i’m still deciding if i’m going to buy a replica of the one you have, but i’m definitely buying the cream and black sleeveless version with the peter pan collar. bird blouses!!!
also, CONGRATS! you made it!
Oh-em-gee, phew! Relieved.
Thanks lady! And yay for bird blouses! But wait … there is one with a peter pan collar??? I freaking love peter pan collars! How did I miss that one?!
I love this outfit! It’s easy and chic with enough interest in the scarf and purse to keep it fresh. Sidenote: I wear scarves all the time in the winter, but in Baltimore there’s only about a 3-second window of time where summer-weight scarves are doable. It makes me so sad because I have quite the thrifted collection! I wore one exactly once before it got too hot. I’m so jealous! And I LOVE that scarf!
Congratulations on finishing all 30 days of the challenge! I’m glad to hear you will be sticking around now that you are done. 🙂
Thanks! And I hope you stick around too 😉
I really should wear scarves more often (our weather permits, for better or worse), but I never seem to know just what to do with them when it’s not cold.
Yay, you’re done! And I have to say, this is one of my favorite outfits of the challenge. That scarf is awesome and looks great with those earrings.
Thanks!! It’s one of my faves too 🙂
I’ve also been getting into simplicity lately, and it is STRANGE. That scarf looks very cozy and I like how it plays up your hair color 🙂
Thanks! I love the colours of the scarf, which is what drew me to it in the first place. Wouldn’t have thought those two would go together so well, but what do I know.
