I know you will not be surprised to hear this, but I like mustard yellow a lot. So much, in fact, that these Rag & Bone jeggings are the third pair of mustard pants in my closet. Each one is a different material (cords, chinos, denim) so I like to think that it’s a perfectly natural state of wardrobe affairs. Don’t tell me otherwise, ok? I’m very happy with the newest addition, by the way. These jeans are as comfortably stretchy as my favourite AG skinnies, and the cropped length is perfect for my short legs. I think they cost something like $6 or $7, which is a more than reasonable price for mustard yellow goodness.
There are some yellowish hints in the print of this J. Crew blazer, so I figured I would add it to the mix to “business up” the admittedly casual pants. Casual Friday uniform, on repeat. What can I say, I’m a creature of habit. I did spend a few minutes debating the choice of bag, but ultimately nixed the safe choice (black) in favour of my lovely blue Muse. Naturally, this invited the wrath of Mother Nature, who must have a terrible grudge against delicate suede bags; by the time I got to work, we had a full-on snow storm situation brewing. Sigh. Y’all wake me up in six months, deal?
Rag & Bone…I will keep my eyelids peeled (I love my AG skinnies!) I really like the black and mustard combo: it looks great on you! Come be a snowbird in Houston and you can teach me how to thrift better!
Oh man, that sounds really tempting right about now. I would love to check out the thrift scene in Houston!
