… because I’m mossy all over, har-har! Terrible, terrible blog post title, especially for one of my favourite outfits of the year. Yep, we’re talking Peak Outfit again. I love everything about it. The colour. The silhoutte (potato sack dresses are my love affair). The mix of textures. The monochromatic thing. I won’t lie: I was dying to pair the dress with this sweater as soon as I laid eyes on it because I knew the colour would be a perfect match. This Madewell sweater is one of my faves so … the dress was a foregone conclusion.

I didn’t buy it right away, though. I originally misread the price tag at my local consignment store, and thought it was $69. My first reaction was: ooh, that’s a bit steep. What can I say? Thrifting has totally skewed my price points. I decided to wait for a price cut. But I couldn’t get the dress out of my head. Out of curiosity, I looked for it on eBay and saw that it was selling for ~$150 CDN. (Sidenote: there is no rhyme or reason, it seems, to Anthro resale prices.) I realized I was risking missing out on a good deal so I went back for it. And in a surprise twist, it turns out the dress was actually $49. That`s still a relative splurge, but this dress is definitely worth it. It`s the perfect marriage of boho glam and casual chic, and I can`t get enough of it. L-O-V-E.
