You saw this dress not too long ago, and the styling here is, well, pretty much non-existent, so the real reason I’m posting these photos is because I got new glasses, see?
I’ve had glasses for as long as I can remember, and because I grew up in the 80s, they were big-ass glasses. Fellow Gen X-ers will know what I’m talking about. Unsurprisingly, I got teased a lot for my glasses, and developed an early and abiding hatred of them … which explains why, for most of the past decade or so, I’ve worn contacts almost exclusively. So, these glasses were an interesting development. Chalk it up to wanting to try new things. I think … I like them. I certainly enjoy the Miss Moneypenny-ish vibe happening with this outfit.
My bag is an old Louis Vuitton limited edition I scored for a song on Kijiji years ago. I really should use it more often because it’s such a lovely bag, even with the monogram overload. The silver “lace” filigree work is so beautiful and unusual. This is actually the bag that ignited by love affair with designer bags, and started my collection. So … thanks, bag!
Hello Ms. Moneypenny 🙂 When I saw the outfit pic I got a librarian/secretary vibe from the dress and glasses combo. And I love it!! I wish I had that dress, I’d wear it all the time.

*wink* I wish 007 was around here somewhere …
What is this LV print called? That bag looks so cool!
And I wear plastic frames but small-ish ones; I can’t go for the oversized frames due to my prescription as well as my memories of how awful those were as a kid, but you look nice. 🙂
It’s the Dentelle Speedy (mine is silver, there was a gold version as well).
Thanks! My old frames were small as well, and I still like them, but I’m ejoying the change.
Love this classic look! Perfect for the office!

Long time reader, first time commenter…
I love the glasses! They are so cute!
After years of contacts and dry eyes, I’ve switched to mostly glasses. They’re so much easier. The only hassle is carrying lens wipes…
Thanks, and welcome! I am the person with perpetually smudged lenses and a lack of wipes, so I feel your pain.
