This outfit is the definition of keeping it simple, yes? But I loved the idea of this beautiful, crisp green next to black and white, and it looked even better in real life, I think. It was the perfect thing for a beautiful summer day. Oops, did I say summer? In April? It sure felt like it, though. Plus 22 (Celsius) — I’ll take that any day.

I actually just wore this to pick up groceries (Superstore’s Click & Pick Up service is amazeballs – such a time saver for busy families, and no, I’m not getting paid to say that), but I felt very chic doing it. Sometimes, that can make even the most tedious errand feel like a grand adventure. Know what I mean? Here are some more pics to convince you.

8 Comments on Keeping It Simple

    • We were last weekend. Then we got a dump of snow on Tuesday morning. Which melted by noon. Now we’re sitting at around +8 or 10. This weather doesn’t know what it wants to do. I feel your pain though.

  1. Love the outfit, but I think I may be more excited about the Click & Pick Up service. I had no idea it existed and now I can’t wait to use it! Thanks for the heads up 🙂

    • It costs $5 per order, but I think that’s a small price to pay considering the cost of groceries (we’re a family of 4) and the convenience factor. If I didn’t have the kids, I probably wouldn’t bother with it. This way, it’s easier/more convenient for us than our other options (shopping with kids, or one of us staying home with the kids while the other shops).

  2. Love the outfit – so spring-y! We’ve never used the Click & Pick Up service – it would be nice if they also delivered the groceries for you, but then you wouldn’t have an excuse to wear a cute outfit!

    • Sadly, they don’t deliver, which is fine because we prefer to pick up — we usually like to pick our produce in person, so we do that then go around to get the rest of the stuff from the pick-up service centre. It has cut our shopping time by at least two thirds.
