Another dress?! Another dress. What can I say? Blame it on summer — nothing easier than putting on a pretty dress, throwing on a blazer, and being ready for another (long, exhausting) day. [It’s the month of the never-ending hearing. It is … never ending.] I bought this dress without knowing what brand it was, because the label was rather mysterious; the details were reminiscent of Anthropologie … which it is. I’m good, you guys — it’s like a 6th sense.
Luckily, this particular dress has a non-twee silhouette, which means that it passes my new style rules. It *is* oddly waistless (or, rather, the waist doesn’t come in enough for my body shape), but that’s not a hard problem to fix. Belt on, problem fixed. If only all problems were so easy, right? Speaking of my new style rules, I refrained from adding any statement accessories — like a necklace — which would have been my first instinct until recently. The print was enough, I decided, and I chose a small brooch instead. I definitely think it was a good call.
I love this dress. The color, print, and sleeves make this one my favorite of all your dresses. The thrifting gods definitely have their eyes on you!
That dress is killer.
Love this dress, love this outfit. Love the simplistic styling. Well done!
Thank you! It’s been a fun process, learning to tone things down, LOL!
Really pretty!
Thanks, Jeri!
I really like your belt! I think it can be hard to find upper-waist belts that don’t seem bulky, or that don’t have a lot of extra belt-tail that juts off to the side.

Thanks! This one is adjustable, so I can actually wear it anywhere from my hips (I think — haven’t checked recently, LOL) to my waist.
