Please ignore (or excuse) the faux coy photo: I was making derpy faces in every other photo, and this was basically my only option. It’s a cute outfit that probably deserves better. I wore it on a day when I was technically on holiday, but came to the office to escape the kids get some work done. Actually, I was escaping the kids so I could get work done, because the whole working-from-home thing? Not working out so well for me. We don’t currently have a dedicated office in our house, and getting holed up in my bedroom does not fool the kids in the least; they want Mommy to come out and play now. On the plus side, the (actual) office was incredibly quiet (between Christmas and New Year, it’s a veritable ghost town) and I got to wear my Fryes to work. Yay.
Casual Office OOTD

Plaid shirt twins! I wore my plaid shirt today to work on my casual Friday – but not quite as cute as this.
Love the color of this cardigan. I really like going to work in that weird time between Christmas and New year. The whole Lab – and its instrumentation – only for me! No distractions! I get a lot done.
Yes! I feel the same way! It was a very productive time – I almost wish I could switch a regular work day for a weekend day every once in a while, just to get some of that uninterrupted peace and quiet.
That is so cute! This is something my daughter could wear to her office and still look polished. Love those boots! Me NEED!
The boots are pretty great, I won’t lie. I have been wearing them a lot. Darn those Fryes for costing so much money because they do make such nice boots!
