I love this skirt so, so much but the fact that its colour palette is navy, red, and brown is not making my life too easy. Black is the backbone of my wardrobe, and … noticeably absent from this skirt’s print. My re-mixing options are, consequently, rather limited and mostly of the “one note” variety. Think “cream top or navy top?” and “brown shoes or red shoes?” How could I keep this outfit formula fresh?
Stripes, of course!
It helps that this old Gap top is that indeterminate colour that is either black or dark navy, but is best described as who-the-hell-knows. It works perfectly in this case! And I’m always happy when I can sneak in my fave florals-and-stripes combo into an office outfit without feeling like a fashun blogger fail come to life.
I love the stripes and the floral. Good mix!
I think one of my favourite things about your blog is the awesome and cheeky photo captions. “Mannequin arm” indeed! Fashun should never be too serious.
You have Ferragamos too! I should have know, lol!
Of course! Vintage Ferragamo flats are the BEST 🙂
