December was a cruel month. Wait, is that supposed to be April? Or is April only the cruellest? Well, regardless, December did a number on me, as previously bemoaned. No need to re-hash all of that. I would just like to take a moment and thank everyone who expressed their support/congrats on my book news, and especially those of you who have bought my baby. You guys have made my year, and 2016 is barely out of the gate. And if you’ll forgive me one more plug: if you’ve had a chance to read the book and enjoyed it, please consider spreading the word. It would mean the world.

OK, on to the important stuff – outfits:

one, two, three
one, two, three
four, five, six
four, five, six
seven eight, nine
seven eight, nine
ten, eleven, twelve
ten, eleven, twelve
thirteen, fourteen, fifteen
thirteen, fourteen, fifteen

For a short (work) month, there are some decent outfits in there. I particularly like #1, 4, 11, 12 and 15. Least favourite are #9 and 13 – they’re not terrible combinations, just a little blah. This is not perhaps unexpected after a whole year of constant re-mixing. I get tired of the same old, same old. I’m sure you’re getting tired of seeing it too. And it’s OK; I ended up buying a whole schwack of clothes in December (including not one but FOUR J. Crew double wool serge pencil skirts) so my office wardrobe is getting a mini overhaul come January.

I will also be working on updating my office capsule page soon…ish, so that you will have the whole 14 months (Sept 2014 to Dec 2015) of daily work outfits together in one place for ease of perusal. Do let me know if you guys find that a useful/interesting/good-for-a-laugh resource, as well as if you have any general style/shopping/budgeting questions; I may create a separate FAQ or Wiki for that if there is enough interest.

  1. This could also double as a tutorial on how to wear winter florals! I love all the dark prints and the range of colours. I like the patterned pants and vibrant blue of #5 – but I think #4 is a classic. Looking forward to January’s wardrobe revival!
