Folks, we have another contender for a Fave Outfit. I just love everything about this, I won’t even try to pretend. It’s definitely a more of a “fall” colour palette than a “spring” one but I’m ok with that. The mustard yellow cords look great with my Regent blazer, but the piece de resistance is definitely my new-to-me Mulberry Jody bag.

Do I need a gold bag shiny enough to substitute for a disco ball? Probably not, but I couldn’t resist it’s shiny goodness, or the really great price (a rare thing for us Canadians, what with the exchange rate *sob*). Mulberry bags are something of a weakness of mine (well, bags in general but you know what I mean) so I’m excited to have a new golden child to play with. See what I did there? Hah!

  1. You get on with your bad self, I say, and wear whatever colours you like no matter the season! If I had those cords and that gorgeous bag you can bet I wouldn’t be waiting until September rolls around to wear/use them. 😉 Oooo, and that key necklace…

  2. Lovely and it’s autumnal but who cares when it looks this good! Plus in 6-7 months time you can pull it out again, a readymade outfit! I have a mustard anthro skirt that I wear with my tweed blazer occasionally, it feels very autumn but smart and I like it 🙂

    • Is it THE mustard Anthro skirt? The one the Academichics had? Gosh, I remember lusting after that for years …

I basically need to have your entire wardrobe, is what I’m saying 😉

      • I don’t know what Academichics is but the skirt is from 2010. I had it in purple too but rarely wore that one so I donated it. I wear the mustard one all autumn and winter long, it was a fantastic buy as I went up to the shop in London on a day they were offering an extra 20% off 🙂

  3. I think those pants can transition into spring no problem with the right top. I think you look fabulous as always. Cheers, Michele
