This outfit didn’t get a ton of love on IG, but I really liked it. These pants are hella comfortable for being high waisted and wool. The lining is thick and so silky — it makes the pants feel like pyjamas. Can’t beat that, right? Right. I mixed in another print, because why not; florals, because of course. And then I added a red bag because … no reason needed really. A red bag is always a good idea.

How do we feel about this palazzo style? It’s growing on me, although I’ll be a skinny-ankle-crop chick till the bitter end. How about you?

  1. I love palazzo, and it annoys me no end that every pair of trousers with a wide leg gets the name these days. Not the same, people. Words have meanings. Best kind of trouser leg in my opinion.

  2. Oh, and I hate that you’re five sizes smaller than me or I’d be lining up to buy those trousers off you when you tire of them. πŸ˜› I ADORE them, the best item of clothing I’ve seen on your blog *sigh* Gorgeous fabric! Wide leg trousers are my Thing. πŸ˜‰

    • You might be able to find them on eBay. I did see a pair not that long ago, although I can’t remember what size it was. Just bear in mind that they are SUPER long (I had to hem about 3 inches off to be able to wear them with heels, and I am 5’7).

      • Too long is better than too short! I might keep a look out, thanks! πŸ˜€ Am strongly suspicious that Anthro clothes are not meant for my body type, but if the price is right it’s worth a shot …

  3. I absolutely love this outfit – the subtle red/coral colors in the pants and top really make it a cohesive look! And I totally get the “skinny and cropped 4evah” feeling, but it is nice to mix it up with a wider style from time to time!

  4. Ohh, I just discovered your blog and loooove how you play with colors! πŸ™‚

As for this outfit, I am not a fan of the palazzo pants. I just feel like they tend to drown me out since I’m a little on the short side. But you look great in it and I love the texture of it.

And yes! I’m a skinny pants chick all the way. πŸ˜€

    • Welcome! I’ve always shied away from palazzo pants (or, really, any wide legged pants) before for the same reason (I’m not necessarily short per se, but I have short legs), but I think they’re not too stumpifying when worn with high heels. But, yeah, skinny pants 95% of the time πŸ™‚
