I mentioned last week that I’ve been wanting a navy bag for a while, and voila: I now have a navy bag. And it’s a beaut, isn’t she? I was crazy about Arcadia bags 6-7 years ago, and used to have 3 or 4 of them, most of which are sadly long gone (sold or gifted). What can I say: after I bought my first (secondhand) LV, I became a bit of a bag snob. OK, a big bag snob. Now, I still love my designer bags, but I’ve recently also rediscovered my love of Arcadia bags. As it happens, I’ve been hunting for one in this particular colour (“Ocean”) on for a few months now. Winners is the only place where I’ve ever seen Arcadias being sold, but this colour never seemed to turn up, so I was thrilled to find it on eBay for a decent price, particularly in this style, since it’s got that handy cross-body strap.

The rest of the outfit was basically thrown together at the last minute, the morning after I got my new bag in the mail. Impatient? But of course. Still, I love how all the blues came together … and how the touch of leopard print breaks up the monochrome. This was one of my fave (and most comfortable) casual outfits in recent months.

  1. I struggle with casual outfits, always feel so scruffy. I really like this, I think it’s the jewelled collar and the leopard shoes. I could still never recreate it successfully though!
