That, folks, is one fine flamingo pose. Only the best for BCRL readers.

Alright, if we ignore the fact I look like a dork, this is a relatively inoffensive outfit. But 15 outfits into this 30 x 30 challenge, you know what I realized? I’m a dress girl. Well, this is not exactly a revelation. I’ve always been a dress girl. It’s one of the reasons I hate Edmonton’s weather – dress season is too damn short. (It is not the only reason. Not even close.) So it reeeeally annoys me when we get too many rainy days cutting into my blink-and-you’ll-miss-it favourite time of year. Wearing pants in the summer – by necessity not choice – should be a crime. If I ever run for public office, look for that as part of my platform. Weather control: it’s a winner.

    • I can see that, but … dresses for the win!
I found most of the weight went after I stopped breastfeeding, at least the first time. This time, not so much …

  1. I would wear a dress or skirt every day if I could. Well, maybe jeans and short sometimes, but I wish there were fewer days when jeans were required!
